‘Daredevil’ Reboot Gets New Screenwriter

For all those hoping that one of the lamer superhero movies will get a reboot instead of Spiderman, good news…

Twentieth Century Fox has hired David James Kelly to rewrite the Daredevil reboot for director David Slade (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, 30 Days of Night). It’s only a matter of time (maybe, I’m just speculating) until Star Wars and Harry Potter get theirs, so the news that Daredevil–which many felt missed the mark–is going to be given a second chance in the meantime is something of a pleasant surprise. I mean, God forbid Hollywood make something new, right? No word yet on whether the widely-panned spin-off Elektra will also be rebooted, but we can only hope that… no, no it won’t. No release date for Daredevil has been set.
