16Film Ledger Fan Randomly Runs into Henry Cavill on New Years
One of our readers has just sent us a pretty cool picture of his encounter with Henry Cavill on New Years. The Film Ledger reader, identified as Barzeen, discusses his brief encounter with the star:
“Hey Film Ledger! I was at a casino in Reno with a few friends and I noticed that a bartender kept poking fun at one of the customers. He kept going on and on, talking about something along the lines of running into Superman. I had enough, so I walked up to him and asked what the hell he was talking about. He motioned to a small group of people and claimed that one of the individuals is Superman. I’m a pretty aggressive guy, so I walked straight up to them and said, “the guys over there keep saying you are Superman, are you Henry Cavill?” Next thing I know, this handsome dude in a bowtie stands up with an English accent and confirms! I couldn’t believe it! Very random, and no one noticed the guy. What kind of took me back is the fact that he has a strong English accent! I wasn’t expecting that. I went on to tell him how excited I was for him; I asked him if he is excited for his big break. He said he is really excited for the film and can’t wait till it’s released! He described it as an amazing experience and looks forward to his future endeavors. He is a really down to earth guy, very humble, very nice. I asked him for a photograph and he said, “Oh sure man! Sure, sure, sure, of course!” We ended up getting a photograph with him and his UFC fighter girlfriend, Gina Carano. Perhaps most amusing about my encounter is the fact that I also ran into Brandon Routh a couple years back in Orange County – also a super down to earth guy. Now I can say I met two Supermans!”

WOW I am so jealous! I didn’t know he was dating anyone again, either, and I’ve been following Henry pretty closely for quite some time.
Me either! Well I had heard about him and Gina being at a car show together back in Aug or Sept 2012 and saw a picture of them sitting pretty close, but it was around the time reports came out that he ended his engagement so I just thought maybe it was rebound dating. Hadn’t heard or seen anything else about it in 4 mo so I just assumed they were done, but I guess not. :/

I was quite shocked to learn that he was dating Gina. I did not find her to be his type at all, and honestly thought they were just rumours since I believe he just got out of an engagement not that long ago. His ex-fiance is a very different from Gina physically. I don’t like her too much to be honest. Pretty face, but he can do better. She admitted in an interview the most feminine thing about her are her boobs, ha ha.
…yes, and “they” are fake! ; ) …… In interviews (although you never know what people are like in private) she seems like a nice person..all the best to him.
She is Henry’s “Miss Right-Now” girl. Someone to have fun with, but not serious long term.

I knew about their meeting in Sept. Didn’t hear much on them,not that I wasn’t truly looking for information. All of the sudden,I see a tweet of Henry and the actor from “In the Blood,”(the movie Gina is now filming in P.R.),posing with the guy who tweeted them. I’m so happy they are together. I don’t know how long it will last,but they are destined to have great fun together. If you are interested in Henry Cavill,be persistent with your “digging”,and the info always turns up!
One more thing,Henry does look slightly out of place in this picture..ha!…but what better way to learn more about each other than to share each others home territory. All the best to you both,hope you stay together…can’t weight to see you both at each others premiers!
