0Joseph Gordon-Levitt Developing ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ Remake

Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) is one of Hollywood’s rising stars. Whether he’s being directed by Christopher Nolan or even getting ready for his own directorial debut, Levitt has become a force to be reckoned with.
The actor is now in the process of developing the remake of Little Shop of Horrors for Warner Bros. The project is based on a 1960 Roger Corman film that turned into an Off-Broadway musical. It was then made into another film adaptation in 1986 by director Frank Oz.
Levitt’s version will have Marc Platt on board to produce. Platt is known for producing films like Drive, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, and the smash hit Broadway musical Wicked. If all goes as planned, it is said that Levitt will play “Seymour, the nerdy florist who cultivates a plant that craves humans for food.”
